Toyota definitely have a defective dashboard for the years 2007 - 2011. The dashboards turn very sticky and shiny, causing a reflective glare. I have migraines and this is not pleasant! I also live in Florida where it is VERY hot so I try to keep as much sun off it as possible so I use a windshield reflector. Well, this has caused me to replace 3 visors that are defective as well. Aggravating!
Toyota admitted to the defective visors and replaced the first one for free under a recall but of course, the other 2 were out of warranty and I had to pay $75 each time those start flopping! Aggravating how Toyota's recall process is so SLOW! Not sure if I am supposed to call someone or just keeping hoping a new dashboard shows up at my dealer and they call me. Hmmmm...............I'd better call someone at Toyota. So that's next!
