As I was pulling into a convenience store parking lot, I put my foot on the brake. The engine started to accelerate while my foot was still on the brake. As I pulling into a parking space the engine stated to rev louder, I shifted it into park where the engine revved louder and I turned the ignition switch off! Waited about 30 seconds and I started it up again and everything was back to normal.

I was on a hill, turning into a parking space. Suddenly the car took off, down the hill and into a parking lot. I hit another car and was braking all the way. My car and the other car were damaged. I had been driving the car for over a year and knew the transmission. Inexplicable.
