In November I was coming home and my car violently shook, and then came to an immediate stop in the middle of the road and then started to drive again but it was shifting very hard. When I got home I went to back into my driveway and it wouldn't reverse, the shifter would go into reverse, the gauge would say reverse, but the car wouldn't actually back up at all. I took it to the dealer the next day and they evaluated it and said the torque converter seized and as it is a sealed transmission the entire transmission needed to be replaced. After 3 weeks at the dealer I finally got the car back and it seems to be fine for now but its not perfect like it was.
