The contact owns a 2025 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that after a visual inspection of the exterior of the vehicle, the contact became aware that the front bumper cover had detached. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the bumper fasteners. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, a case was opened, and the contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was unknown.
The front bumper of the vehicle has a known issue where the bumper isn-??t staying in properly causing the bumper to pop out of alignment. Toyota fix is to heat up both sides of the plastic edges and tuck the bumper underneath the headlights. It-??s a temporary fix that-??s needs to be rectified. It seems like Toyota changed the Camry design before it was ready.
