Toyota knew they had a problem with this happening with the highlander and Camry 4 cylinder and did nothing to fix the problem. This is what a dealer told me. Put a $7,000 engine in a car that looks great only has a 135,000 miles on it but is worth $5.000. They also told me they had problems with the catalytic converter which I also have. My check engine light has been on 2 years. Car leaks about a qt. of oil a month.
