Spun crankshaft bearing on a Highlander with 180,000 km. Driven mildly in colder climate, using only synthetic engine oil replaced on a regular basis. Really loud rod knock. It was advised by 3 independent shops that the engine needs to be replaced. Engine replacement surpasses the value of the vehicle.
