Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

All four brake warning lights come on when the car is started and they do not go off. When the incident first happened the brake warning lights would stay on until the car was turned off and would not come back on for days. This same cycle would happen over and over again. Now the warning lights come on a few minutes after the vehicle is in motion and will not turn off. I think that there is a problem with the instrument panel or it has something to do with the L25 recall that has not been fixed yet.

I received a recall for frequency operated button ignition key (fobik). Recall L25. I have called my dealer and they have told me for a few months now that the part is on back order. I called Chrysler group recall assistance center at 800-853-1403 and they cannot tell me when this part is going to be available. I have had issues with this car stopping in the middle of the road, especially in rough terrain, over railroad tracks, etc. Because the key moves to the accessory mode from the on position on its own. I am fearful to be read ended when this happens. I've had this issue with the car for about a year for what I thought was "stalling" but now realize it is the fobik causing this. Chrysler dealer tells me they get daily calls regarding not having this part available. What recourse do I have to get this recall taken care of?

I came to a stop sign and the vehicle shut off (as if the key had been turned to the accessory position). After taking it to the dealership, they informed me that it was affected by the L25/NHTSA 14V-373 recall. This can cause then engine to stop at any point in time (including driving while on a highway). This is not a condition where the minvan should be driven. If this were to happen on a highway the results could be deadly (the engine shuts off and the sudden lack of steering and brakes plus the airbags deactivating). I have been told that there are no parts available to fix this and that I should drive it home. This is incredibly unsafe and I can't believe that this is allowed to happen. The recall has been out since June of this year and I'm being told that there is no eta on when the parts will be available.
