I found out that this is a common problem with Blazers and has been for years. Seems like GM would have beefed up the hinges rather than establish a solid base of customer complaints. They wounder why the American public has no faith in the quality of their products, they know there is a history of a reoccurring problem and failed to correct it.Due to this problem the door seals leak, and there's lots of wind noise inside the car. I can't say that I'll be willing to buy american made again soon due to the quality issue and the lack of concern from GM.
