The contact owns a 2003 Chevrolet Impala. The contact was driving at night approximately 25 mph with the headlights on. Suddenly, the headlights became inoperative. The speed rate was reduced and the hi-beams were activated. The vehicle was able to continue in operation. The contact had concern of the potential safety hazard. The failure mileage was approximately 57,000. Updated 01/28/11 the multi-function switch was replaced. Updated 03/23/11

The contact owns a 2003 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated that the turn signals failed and would not engage. The dealer replaced the module and there had been no further occurences. In addition, the contact stated that the headlights worked intermittently. The dealer was unable to diagnose the failure. The current mileage was 75,100 and failure mileage was 75,047. Updated 05/21/08 the consumer stated the dealership reapired the problem. Updated 05/20/08.

Turning signals stopped working I had to manually move my signal up and down to turn corners, get over two lanes of traffic on the interstate. Very dangerous had to have hazard switch/flasher unit replaced.
