I am very disappointed in GM for not catching this problem. A dead battery and you can not pull the key from the ignition. Now you have no choice but to leave the key in the ignition, as well as leaving the car unlocked with your valuables inside, should you have to go somewhere for help. GM should recall these cars for a fix, as well as add a mechanical trunk latch from inside the car.
