Airbag light goes on and off while driving. Took to dealer said it is a $700 repair for the "seat belt tensioner". transmission exploded at 30,000 miles. At 60,000 mile had to replace transmission again. Now at 108,000 miles transmission is now slipping and not accelerating properly from a stop.

The transmission shifter lever is stuck in park and the key is stuck in the ignition switch due to a very poor electrical design. The electrical wires attached to the connector that operates the solenoid that unlocks the transmission shifter button in the park position and that also connects to the ignition switch and operates various functions such as releasing the ignition key and allows the vehicle electrical system to be completely turned off, breaks off due to electrical wires being too short and the back and forth movement of the shifter. Checking the online blogs this is a known issue that has been happening on several GM vehicles for some time without any recalls despite constant customer complaints due to the very poor design. Some dealers have suggested leaving the key in the ignition switch and unlocking and locking the vehicle with the key fob. This invites vehicle theft and by not having the electrical system completely turned off, the battery runs down as the accessories and ignition is still turned on and the transmission lights on the instrument panel remains lighted. Some customers have had repeat reoccurrences after having the issue repaired at a cost of between $500 and $600. After inspecting the operation of the shifter and the affect it has on the electrical wiring it is obvious that the wiring will fail and in the blogs as early as whilst under warrantee. I am concerned if there are any other issues that may occur especially safety ones as there is 5 wires I do not know the function of each wire. Can you please investigate this issue.

Each time the failure recurred, the speed decreased to less than 20 mph and the vehicle shook and vibrated abnormally. The vehicle was towed to a dealer who replaced the throttle body position sensor. The manufacturer stated that the accelerator pedal position sensor was to be replaced in a special condition coverage customer satisfaction campaign. The failure did not recur from the dealer's repair which was over a year ago. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 60,700.

I was driving and my cars engine light came on 1st then the traction control light. When they came on it reduced power to my engine and quit on the interstate. I had looked up possible causes when I had a test ran it was showing throttle body I replaced it and it never fixed it upon research I have seen multiple people who owns Impala from the years 2009 and up having the same issues and feel it is something that needs to be looked into. What I have found idk yet I am waiting on the piece to see if this is the issue or not is the pedal sensor could be the cause. But I feel it can be unsafe because my car had quit on a busy interstate with cars traveling at the speed of 65mph and higher. Just when I was looking it up I had saw so many other people having the same issues with their Impala. Please look into it thank you.\

After purchasing this vehicle within 30 days the air bag system light came on I took the vehicle back to future Nissan of folsom and they stated that I would have to call the warranty people there was nothing they could do about it. A week later I noticed when I slow down using the breaks it makes a shaking sound, making the whole car shake. This vehicle also has no coverage when pumping gas I noticed the silver cap inside that's suppose to remain closed until you put the gas pump in there in always open, which allows air to get inside. My powertrain is not accelerations properly, it takes about a minute for it to catch its gear.

To whom it may concern: I am writing this letter on behalf of my parents for the great abuse that has been done to them. About 3 years ago they were really excited because for the first time in there life after living here for close to 40 years they would have bought a car from a dealership! a fairly new car, first car from a local Agency in madera. The name of the dealer: Madera Chrysler Jeep Dodge. They sold my parents a defective from the beginning. They knew about the recalls since 10/13/2010 and 05/25/2010 this was before they even purchased the car 11/26/2011. They are doing unlawful sales to vulnerable poor customers and are not in compliance. According to General Motors it is and was completely the car dealerships responsibility to fix these recalls (please see attached list of recalls). Their solution is to well purchase a new car from them. They still have our car and have made no intent to fix it. Please help us put a stop to this bad and corrupt sales manager who takes advantage of hispanic latinos who don?T read or speak spanish. There are many families at risk who might buy a car that is defective and there can be a horrible catastrophe or death. For the last few months off and on my Chevy Impala has starting jerking after taking off even if I barely press the gas pedal. It's like it's stuck in gear when driving not shifting but then it drives normally. I almost got rear ended because after a stop at a light I started to take off but it hesitated and jerked. Have been talking to other Chevy Impala owners even some of the previous generations and the same issue has occured with them also. This needs to be looked into you pay good money for a vehicle you expect it to perform as it's suppose to.
