2014 Impala bought used March of 2014. By June started experiencing problem constantly.
When the outside temperature is in the range of 60 to 75 degrees F. and I set the inside temperature to within 5 degrees above the outside Temp the Air conditioning comes on hard and it becomes unbearably cold in the car. So essentially when the weather is perfect and I just want fresh air I have a choice of insanely cold or 85 degrees. !! I have had this car almost 3 years and have tried every combination of ; AC on, auto on / off, sync. , hi , low ,and can not stop it. Have checked the calibration of temp dial and is within 1 degree. Very embarrassing to give people rides in this $ 35,000 car and not be able to control the temp.
I had bumper to bumper warranty, 2 year maintenance plan, and about 4 recalls. Told the dealer EVERY TIME I went in about the problem and all I got was deer in the head lights look and "never happened to anybody else" .
