Summary
This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that may have a surge, shudder, vibration, chuggle, or fishbite felt while driving after a cold soak start until the engine reaches operating temperature, most noticeable on a 50% or higher throttle. This condition has been determined to be a design characteristic and no repairs are to be attempted.
