- Summary
- N192269770 - Service Update. Certain vehicles may have the driver side front seatbelt intermediate guide not properly installed into the B-Pillar. When this happens, the intermediate guide may become disengaged from the pillar. A loose intermediate guide may produce a metal to metal sound while allowing the seatbelt webbing to retract or while driving, as the intermediate guide contacts the seatbelt assembly webbing guide at the bottom of the B-Pillar. It is unlikely that the loose intermediate guide would affect the proper operation of the seatbelt assembly. Dealers are to inspect to ensure proper installation of the seatbelt guide loop.
