I had to bring the car back in when I 1st bought the car. No one mentioned the that the cover was completely missing. I bought a night so I didn't notice until the next day. They had to order a part so it took a week before it could be fixed. About the same time I got a recall notice in the mail for the cover problem. I rarely used the mirror. I was told at the dealership that I would be charged a $100 diagnoses fee - for a mirror cover! What's to diagnose the clasp doesn't catch anymore. That for me was nothing more than a rip off.
