BONUS: Driver side one's spring went out, so now I can't even fold it up to the ceiling.
The back seat panel on the passenger side fell of and wouldn't go back on properly. They dealership said it was a warped piece and they took it off and ordered a new replacement.
Passenger side vanity mirror lid broke very easily. It wasn't broken on accident or purpose. The little plastic part holding the lid on was small and weak. They replaced the Vanity Mirror at the dealership.
The mirror broke from just gently opening it. I am a small person with little strength so you can't blame me. Poor quality of materials. The Driver side visor had to be replaced
Ok well Chevy, unlike like any other car company, likes to use an awful lot of plastic. They thought it would be nice to put on the back of the front two seats. Well one day on a trip to Philly my friend stretched out his legs and the plastic on the back of the passenger seat broke off hanging by ONE clip. I've had no problems with the seat before until this road trip. All the clips were all cracked and by the end of the trip it actually broke off completely.
After 2 weeks of driving with an ugly back seat i really wanted to have it fixed...I'm sure if i went to Chevy they would of charged at least 50-100 dollars for a sh!tty piece of plastic that's bound to break again because everything on this car breaks...My solution was actually bolting the plastic threw the steal frame of the seat...Thank you Chevy and GM for not making your seat all one material and making me bolt my seat together...Cannot wait till June so i can get an Altima instead.
After a few months of owning the car, the back seat levers (to adjust recline and lower back seat) cracked. Had to buy them from an aftermarket company. Soon there after, other plastic components started showing cracks. As of today, with a little over 38,000 miles, the two vanity mirror flaps are cracked (never even use them), the plastic cover around the automatic shifter is cracked, the other rear seat handle is starting to show wear, the plastic cover behind the center console in the back seat is loose as the retaining pieces have broken off, the center console is harder to close (poor plastic design and quality), the center console has some strange coating that easily scratches off (marks everywhere), all the vinyl/plastic trim around the windows have yellowed out badly from the sun (despite some UV protection from the glass), etc. I just keep finding poor quality plastic components throughout the car. May have over 38,000 miles, but it is only a little over 2 years old. Does not get abused and rarely carries passengers or kids. Imagine if I really put this car through some real world usage.
