ENGINE IS VERY LOUD. SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING ON TOP OF THE ENGINE MAKING THE NOISE. ALMOST LIKE A BAFFLE THAT HAS A HOLE IN IT.

I took my car to the dealership to have loud engine roughness to be checked out. The engine actually visually shakes at times, but doesn't happen all the time. It also is very clanky intermittently. The dealership lifted the hood said they don't think so and they did nothing.

loud engine

This problem started shortly after we bought our 2013 Malibu. The car runs very rough and acts like it is running out if gas at times. In some instances when starting our car, it chugs and shakes very bad then starts and runs rough. We have had out car in 5 times and they can never duplicate our problem. Though I notice I'm not the only one complaining about this same issue. It also chugs and acts if it is running out of gas at stop or going up hills. No codes are thrown at this time, but problem remains the same and seems to be getting worse.

When I start the vehicle it runs really loud sounds like a helicopter taking off. Also in a cold start in the morning it sounds even louder and while sitting in the vehicle the engine seems to have a gap in the running speed you can actually feel the lull in the engine. It revs to to 3 for a long time also. Is anybody else having these problems?

I took it in 5 times and they state to me its normal and that it is designed to get to running temp in 3 min, but explain to me how that is good for the motor? They also asked me to sit in another 2013 Malibu off the lot and I still felt it but not so intense. They told me because I have little more mileage on it that is I feel it more. So is this problem going to get worse with time??????
