On November 19, around 8:15 PM, the wife and I were headed home from Church. I got on the Interstate and looked into the rear-view mirror and saw smoke. The engine lights came on, the one most recognizable was to turn off engine immediately. I got off the interstate and pulled into Chevron station. Open the hood reluctantly thinking it was on fire. The engine was covered with smoke, oil, and the ground under it.
I called AAA to have the vehicle pulled to Panos Automotive 6857 Gadsden Hwy Trussville AL 35173. The next day they told me the Rocker Arm Oil Control Valve had blown. They were not able to repair the vehicle until Tuesday, because the part was not available. Are these repairs covered or reimbursable? Finally, is this an ongoing problem with this vehicle and what are the chances of this happening again?
