Chipmunks ate my wiring and wiring harness twice in 3 weeks. Approx $2000 out of pocket expenses. They denied the use of "soy based" wiring led to the damage. Nothing was covered under warranty. The 2nd time it happened, the dealership coated the wires with oil to change the taste and we have not had an issue for 8 months. Oil to change the taste, but denies the soy wiring is the issue? Between this and the issue I have with the tires, I'm down over $4000 in a year and half. It is very frustrating especially considering this car was brand new. The 1st issue with the wiring happened approx 1 year after owning the car. I never had issues with any car before parking in that spot and my husband doesn't have any issues currently with his 2013 GMC parking in that same spot.
