Purchased new 2006. On third set of front Rotors/Pads under 24,000 miles. Cost $600 at dealer to replace each set of Pads and Rotors.
Update from Sep 8, 2012: Purchased new 2006 Chevy Silverado and under 24,000 miles replaced :
Front ABS Sensor, Front Pads/Rotors TWICE, Front Calipers, Rusted Front Brake Line [Brakes Failed], Both Front Wheel Bearing Assembly, and Heater Unit at cost of a few thousand dollars - Don't buy GM products.
