Yes I said it, throttle delay! Counted up to three Mississippi's at one point before truck decided to move! 07 Chevy Silverado 4X2 with 4.8L V8. Now not only is this problem just freak'n annoying but it's a huge safty issue. If I am trying to pull out onto a busy road and I give er gas and she sits there for three seconds my gap to go is more then likely to have passed CREATING one big problem! Now this does NOT just happen when at a stop, but when you take your foot off the gas for a moment then push back on the pedal you can get a delay! I have heard of up to a 5 SECOND delay. I have an 08 Scion XD LOVE IT! Guess what NO throttle delay! Chevy told me that the delay was normal and maybe GM might come up with some software to fix the problem, but thats only if your truck is still under warranty. Now the question is does a person with this isse try to shove the truck up GM'S behind? Think about it. I can take it back to the dealership as much as I want but can they fix it?? They have not fixed it yet! It's a danger to the driver of the truck and for the family in it, as well as other drivers! WHAT IS GM DOING ABOUT IT?
