Power train warranty expired 12/29/2013 (probably not covered anyway). Truck is used mostly to pull a horse trailer, hence the low miles. I hate to think what may have happened if I had been pulling the trailer on a country road when the failure occurred. No steering, no brakes, and 5,000 pounds of trailer with two horses aboard!
What bothers me most is that the problem is not a new one. Same complaint on the transmission cooling line that cost $400 to replace last week (problem at least since 1999).
