Engine failed on freeway, leaving employee stranded and having to be towed in 100 degree heat! Truck needed for employee to be able to work. The fuel pump taking out all if the intake system seems to be a common problem and we feel that it should be covered by WARRANTY!! We were quoted $16,000 for the repair! Nor Cal Battery has 12 GM trucks and over half of them have the Diesel Duramax Power train. It looks like the pump was designed for the fuel in Europe and has been failing in the US due to different fuel used in the US. Please let me know what if anything we can do.
