Sonic LT 1.4L

Really poor shifting and at speed in 6 gear, the transmission seems to 'jump' or jerk while driving. seems like the clutch is slipping. this car sucks

Sonic LT 1.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 55,000 miles

This 'jerky' issue is random, when at a stop, in Drive. the whole vehicle lurches back and forth. If shifted into N or P, the jerking immediately stops.

while in D, at a stop, brakes on, the jerky motion feels like if you don't have the brakes applied enough, and the car wants to move forward, but that is not the case, apply more pressure to the brakes and the jerkiness remains.

Sonic 1.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 55,000 miles

this is a brand new car only 3 years old and now it is jerking, snorting and so forth. Its like it is stuck in between gears. this really needs to be fixed and looked at. I also feel like this should be a warranty issue not out of my pocket
