Back in 2015 my car was serviced for the hood latch recall, even though I had never had any problems. Okay, great.... Now 4 years later my hood latch is not working. I have to close my hood repeatedly until it finally latches, and even then it will release the latch while driving. Luckily no hood popping up at my windshield yet, but I can see it start bouncing up and down while I drive (and it is always latched before I take off). So I have to pull over and fight with it endlessly to secure it again... not knowing if it will hold or if it will release mid-drive again. Because the recall was already service, they are saying I have to pay for this. I don't think I should have to - it's their faulty safety latch!
