Every web site shows 5 recalls on the Chevy Spark. GM only recognizes 2. The lower control arm is not one of them. From July of 2016 thru October 2016 I kept telling the Chevrolet and GM corporate office that something was wrong and two different service department did nothing. So, on 11/06/16 my son turned a corner on a residential street and lost all control of the steering. The car went up over a curb into a yard and was totaled. Not one air bag deployed as well which GM basically said was normal under certain circumstances. End results. GM does not take responsibility because they do not list the lower control arm as a recall, my car was totaled and I am out money, lost wages and back into another six years of payments. Thank goodness no one was injured or killed. With no steering control and no air bags it could have been a lot worse. Of course though it's something that just happened and not due to a faulty and unsafe product being put on the road. They're not responsible and won't admit fault.
