In the past year the rear lift gate door and window will not unlock. After driving the car and stopping it will then unlock.. This may be necessary to repeat this several times before the lift gate and window unlock. Some times repeatedly pressing the lock button on the driver door repeatedly will result in it unlocking.
This is a real issue since there is no key slot to unlock the rear lift gate from either the outside or from the inside. This could be a dangerous situation if you are inside the rear of the car (sleeping when campinig) and need to exit out of the car.
