Purchased a 2011 Suburban LTZ, had 50k miles and and only 2 years old. Noticed rust bubbles on the rear deck lip. I pulled the rubber off the bottoms of all 4 doors, more rust. I took a closer look at the hood, same rust bubbles. Dealer said it was a known problem and used grinder to grind down the bubbles and paint over (Sunrise Chevy in Illinois). I complained to GM that I wanted the panels replaced only to have them say, not our problem anymore. After 6 months, new rust bubbles on the hood already, and lots of rust on the frame.
Now on start up I get 10-15 seconds of white/blue smoke. 4 year old Suburban with rust, and now blows smoke out the tailpipe, GM must be proud of their products..... Will have a real hard time buying another GM, ever.
