The paint on the top of the truck is bad....no amount of wax or buffing has removed the blemish. I went to trade it in and was going to take a big hit on the paint.

I bought the suburban used in 2020. Within a year or so, I noticed the hood starting to fade. Ever since, it has gotten worse. The hood and roof are at a total loss. They have to be completely restored per our GM auto dealer. However, they say that GM will not pay for it. The hood costs $800 to be fixed. I have not gotten a quote for the roof yet. This is ridiculous that they won’t fix their own problem.

I have a 2016 Suburban with paint issues so I contacted General Motors 12/2/2020. My suv only had 22,000 spoke to Gabriel Ballard he got in touch with Marc Cowan the body shop @ Rydell Chevrolet in Northridge, CA. I was told to take it in for a paint job and I would get reimbursed to submit my receipts when the job was complete. I submitted the paperwork to GM - I NEVER GOT REIMBURSED !!! I TOTALLY GOT IGNORED AND STUCK WITH $1,800.00 BILL. GENERAL MOTORS DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT.

THIS IS THE SECOND GM SUBURBAN I HAVE A PAINT PROBLEM WITH.

I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A GM VEHICLE AGAIN.

My 2016 Black Chevy Suburban 4x4 paint on the hood started fading so I took it to a paint guy and they said there is no clear coat left and they can not polish / buff the hood so I would have to get a new paint job. Chevy said it's around 650.00 and would not help out. WHY did I ask for them to pay for it? Well, in Arizona the dealership sold us the car with a zaktek paint protection.

After looking around, every black Chevy has faded / oxidized paint. Chevy has had problems with black paint and I don't think dealers adding additional chemicals on a new car is helping. I want this fixed, Chevy.
