"takata recall" I have called local dealership(tom light Chevrolet) multiple times and have been told multiple times they are not replacing any recalled airbags. Called another dealership where vehicle purchased( norman frede Chevrolet) and response was essentially that at this point Chevy didn't feel like airbags posed problem per a person that answered my call in their service department. At this point it kind of sounds like I am getting run around by dealers.what help can you provide. On question when did this happen below I am stating date of date recall occurred.
Takata recall - I have contacted my dealer, luck Chevrolet, several times but been told that they do not have the necessary replacement parts and my vehicle is too old. The vehicle is owned by my company, GEM properties, ltd.
No accident or anything like it has happened. Thank god. This recall has been in effect since 2016 but we were told it was not a priority to replace, so nothing has been done about replacing them. Does an accident need to happen to make the replacement?

Takata recall I received a recall notice in the mail, urging me to contact a dealership to get my vehicle repaired. I contacted the dealer only to be told that repair parts have not been issued and they do not know when repair parts will become available. I now face the possibility of driving my car 900 miles home for christmas with faulty airbags or paying several thousand dollars to fly home and rent a car. While going broke is not fun, especially around the holidays, neither is dying because your airbag decides your time on earth is up.

Takata recall I have contacted dealership multiple times and they do not have parts available. I am driving a vehicle with a faulty air bag and I do not want anything to happen to my passengers. I either need to sell my vehicle and take a loss because of a faulty air bag recall or I need this fixed. Its been well over a year with no parts available to fix this dangerous issue.
Takata recall my vehicle was identified in the airbag recall 18 months ago and still no action is available. Also, I lived in houston, tx for 15 months where the hot humid climates created a higher risk of malfunction. Chevrolet corporate offices and several Chevrolet dealers have told me there is still no parts available to make the repairs, 18 months later. I have not been able to fully utilize my vehicle (I.e. I drive it as little as possible) out of fear for the safety of myself and my passengers.
