Just purchased truck it has not been 30 days and the service suspension system light came on and when I drive the car will accelerate faster on its own. Which was very scary with kids in the car now my engine light is on plus traction control and it sometimes won't go over 70 mph. I feel like I was told truck was in great condition but it's not and scared it might accelerate on its on with kids in car. I was on highway when this happened I work from home so I haven't really had chance to drive truck but I feel un safe driving it berger Chevrolet should be shamed I have called multiple managers with no call back

Driving on highway at night. Go to high beams and motor immediately begins to rev up/down, and run erratic. Switch beams to normal position=it stops. When depressing key fob to open and close doors, it only works frequently. Bizarre electrical issue....

Recently purchased a used Tahoe from dealership with warranty.while driving in snow making a right turn the stabilitrac light came on, traction control, and ABS. The vehicle fishtaled, engine lost response. The ABS and stabilitrac warnings continue for a short time and went off. I was able to stop the vehicle safely. Second instance in the rain, on the highway. I was traveling in the fast lane, wanted to move over for a fast moving vehicle behind me. As I was changing lanes the stabilitrac light came on again, this time pulsing the a B S breaks. I had to steer harder to the right, to get out of the way. The throttle response was low as well. The Tahoe is consuming huge amounts of gas. About 13miles per gallon. Drags up hill. Seems like it hard to shift into higher gears. Return to dealership for service. Dealer cleaned throttle body, replaced mass air flow sensor. Returned it to me, I told the dealer to drive it, before I accepted it back. Three codes popped up. Back to Chevy for diagnosis. Yaw sensor not communicating, etc. I told the dealer I feel the vehicle isn't safe. I gave them a list of codes off my code reader. It doesn't seem they are taking it into consideration. We haven't had the vehicle a month. The dealer is providing a rental. Seems like a common issue with the Tahoe and other Chevy vehicles. The dealer also told me I had to recreate the problem and/or have the check engine light on for warrenty. The stabilitrac lights comes on intermittently as well as check engine light. I don't think that's fair. They are however trying to figure out the issues. I feel like they sold me a car with known issues.

Stabilitrak and ABS light comes on while driving, the door locks go crazy, radio goes in and out and you lose the ability to accelerate. Engine acts like it wants to die out. The first time I had it taken in, they said it was a sensor so I paid $600 to have it fixed. 6 months later it started doing the same thing so the same sensor was replaced again. One month later my Tahoe is doing the exact same thing and now the dealership says it's a short. I don't think they know what's going on and they are just trying different things to see if it works, so now I am out of pocket over $1000 for them to keep guessing what going on.

Was driving vehicle and came to a stop light. While at light felt engine shut down and showed "service stabilitrak and service traction control." Turned off ignition and started vehicle again but with trouble. Both lights stay on and vehicle was operable with reduced engine speed. This issue has occurred on several occasions and luckily it hasn't been while driving with my family and causing an accident or death.

I started to encounter the following errors on my 2011 Chevy Tahoe; service traction control, service stabilitrak, engine power reduced during the winter months of 2012-2013. I could be simply doing the task of warming the vehicle up in the morning, driving on a paved road going 35mph, or full blown in the middle of freeway/highway traffic. The vehicle will violently start to idle with the warning indicators mentioned above, I then have to somehow pull over in the middle of traffic because I'm unable to get any power due to the engine power reduction. Shut the vehicle completely off and patiently wait until it decides to reset. This could happen once a day to multiple times a day. It could happen immediately one after another or at any given time. The service engine indicator will stay on for about a day before it goes away. Leaving you with the impression the vehicle is fine. Well it's not until it happens again and again. I was about to take my vehicle in right before it was turning spring weather was warming, (not sure if this had anything to do with the issue) but surprisingly it stopped. All spring and summer I had not one issue until now! January 8th 2014 and the weather is cold. This seems after reading on a few blogs on the web, numerous GM owners are having the same issue. They take the vehicle in to have serviced and the service fails. It sounds more like a faulty product which is unsafe having the engine power reduced with no ability to get out of traffic in the middle of the freeway.

I was driving on the highway with my child, when then engine light came on. Seconds later the "stabilitrak off and traction control off" came on. "service traction" came on and within seconds the power steering left and the brakes seemed as if they were not working properly. Thank god there was not a lot of traffic!! I got over as the engine sputtered and finally died. This could have been a tragedy!! I have read many are having this problem and it needs to be fixed before someone really gets hurt!!

I was driving on the long island expressway ( 495) at about 2 pm on 1/28/13, I was in the middle lane at about 65mph when suddenly the check engine light came on and a message came up saying, service stabilitrak, then engine power reduced. This caused my vehicle to slow down to that 65mph to about 35 rapidly. I was able to move over and pull over to the side of the road. Once I stopped the car it was idling very rough. I turned off my car and turned it back on and was able to reset my computer. I went to my mechanic and was told it was a 2135 error code( a throttle body sensor issue).
