This caused me to be out of work and have to rent a car. The engine shops I have called have quoted me anywhere from 2,800-4,000 to fix a bad lifter that was caused by the engine consuming excessive oil and not circulating correctly through the engine. This is absolutely ridiculous. I am going to try and join the class action lawsuit against GM for this issue.
I just bought my 2014 Chevy Tahoe and when I start it it makes a knocking noise. This noise is very annoying It seems like if it's coming from the engine. I don't know what to do. I took it in for service but it stopped making the noise. Please help I need this fixed asap. They could not hear it so I had it recorded. They weren't sure what it is. I need this problem fixed. The noise comes and goes. Please help
