I had filled my tank with gas then went about my daily chores. I had not gone far enough to already need to fill up tank again, but I was running out of gas. I thought that maybe I forgot to put the gas in tank earlier at station. I could smell gas but I dismissed it because I had to have my husband bring a gas tank and figured it was from the gas can. So, I filled up the tank again a couple of days later and I noticed a strong smell of gasoline inside the Tahoe. I looked down and about the same time I realized I was out of gas again. I pulled into gas station and started to pump the gas and realized it was leaking out at the same time I was pumping it in. Apparently, it is a bad design and after time the hose rubs and then breaks open allowing the gas to leak out.
