fuel sending unit went out on us, replaced the sending unit, my helper dropped the tank and i had to purchase a tank from the bone yard $520 for the pair, then after i retought the computer from having the battery disconnected it started to surge and backfire a week after the installation. check engine light came on, the only known fault code listed was for a corroded tank pressure sensor. the car only surges and backfires occasionaly it is also shifting strange when this happens. my wife says on two occasions that after a long drive the car will not restart after sitting for a short period of time, give it 15 mins and it will start right up,, oh yea and we too have the ticking issue.
