The check engine light has come on twice in two weeks. First time I took it to the dealership and there was a belt not working properly. They gave me a loaner and fixed it. A week later, the check engine light came on again and a fuse was broken. Again, they gave me a loaner. However, I just leased this car in July of 2015 and it is only November of 2015. It is a brand new car and should not be having problems like this. The service department at the dealership says check engine lights come on all the time for these cars so I am truly regretting leasing a Chevy Volt. It's unfortunate because I really did like this car when I got it. I now know I would never buy a Chevy vehicle though, so maybe that could be beneficial for me to know in the future for me when I am ready to buy.
