My wife brought the car while under Chrysler warranty over a year ago since the convertible hardtop stopped going up or down. They said the motor is bad and the part is on permanent back order. They said a few parts existed in the US but no dealer wanted to give them up. Now the FCA, fiat customer assistance group has this case which is # 31846601. We every few months, get a new due date. We were supposed to get this repaired in April 1 year later and today were just told now August. That will be 16 months.
Do I think there is a chance it will get repaired? Chances of winning Powerball might be better. The FCA group says they can't do anything. Supposedly this is the oldest case at FCA. Anyone have any idea how to get them to do something? We'd be happy if they got a used car or junker and use a part from it to fix this car and then someday maybe we will get a new part. My wife can't use the car this way as it was designed to. Missing 2 summers with the top down:-(
