Within the last week, my car has turned off twice while driving it. The first time I was going downhill on an S-curve and the engine turned off and a message appeared on my dashboard to put the car in park and start. The second time I was in stop and go traffic and the car just suddenly turned off and the same message appeared. I was stuck in the middle of the road and had to throw it in park while other cars were trying to go around me while I tried to restart it. When it did restart it, the check engine light was on and it also had a flashing lightning bolt. I was going to go get the check engine light checked the following day, but when I turned my car on in the morning, the check engine light was gone.

Car purchased 10/21/2016, 3 months later problems began. 01/16/2016 service air bag light came on and will not go off. Dealer said it is not covered under my extended warranty, for what reason I still don't know. Taken the car to 3 different shops to work on it and I keep being told it is a passenger seat connector, yet I have had this done 3 times now...$500 out of pocket each time, the light is still on as of 11/10/2017. Now the car also has a service engine light on constantly along with this airbag light. As well as of 10/25/2017 my car has began to tell me the engine is running hot while I'm driving, but the thermostat display inside never even gets to half.. so not sure about this now. As well as also telling me to service the electronic throttle control as soon as the overheat sensor goes off. Lastly I was at the gas station the other day and the car wouldn't start, it said the keyfob not detected but it was in my hand! had to google what to do..(which is put nose of keyfob to button and press it that way if happens to anybody else) soo that would be a total of 4 different lights on at this time of 11/10/2017. Enterprise has yet to help me or get back to me on any of these issues. It was a rental car before I bought it from them, obviously they sold me a lemon! as I was getting an oil change on 11/01/17 I had them run codes and it and it read I needed a new thermostat to take care of the engine overheating and the etc light...needless to say this has been a car from hell. I have filed complaints to enterprise about this car repeatedly especially with it all happening so soon after getting the car. I'm stuck with it now so I would love for somebody to know what there doing and actually fix this car!!!

After a few attempts, the vehicle restarted and the gear shifted into drive. The contact was able to drive to gwinnett Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (5054 us-78, stone mountain, ga 30087), but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted at 800-853-1403 and stated that the VIN was not included in the recall. The contact was advised to call NHTSA. A case number was not provided. The failure mileage was 41,000.

2015 Chrysler 200 have had nothing but trouble with the car since purchase. Transmission runs very rough, car jerks, shifts gears unexpectedly, engine shuts off while driving. 9/29/17 engine shut off while driving and car hit a curb. Have taken to the dealership over and over and they say nothing is wrong with the car and have not noted in my file that I have complained about transmission problems. Was contacted by Chrysler engineers that were doing a study on the transmission problems and wanted me to test drive a newer model to compare. They admitted Chrysler knew about problems with this model but have been unable to get Chrysler to admit or buy back the vehicle

I was in a car accident Feb 16 2017. Rear ended by a Ford Expedition. My airbag came on but didn't deploy. I hit my head hard and smoke was coming from the steering wheel. Purchased 2015 Chrysler 200 at 4:35 pm. Got on hwy 25 miles West going home I-70 West to bonner springs, the car started hesitating, I nearly got thrown off highway by 3 semis- adnd 2 trucks and cars behind me, let off horrible burning odor, and nearly threw my body out of the car, but I handled well. I got off I-70 to state avenue- runs parallel directions. Then, when I came to a number of lights- the engine revved up, like it was jerking motions. I paid it some attention, but was at a loss for words. I thought I was on a race track engines revved up, but I was not going to a race track. So, I came home- settled now down TO2:445 in the morning very shaken up. So, I notified the televisions news stations and the Kansas City star newspaper as we speak. I decided to read the "Chrysler 200 reviews, and I am sure you can pull them too. I just searched for Chrysler 200 reviews- and I read so many "exact" stories- I don't know what to say. I cannot sleep. This is the worst feeling I have ever had. Read the reviews. Help people live, and get rid of these cars. Just think, it has great leg room- I had plans for my nieces- to go to Texas, we cannot die at once. I am not ready to be buried- at least let me teach a few more months and years. Had it been snowing, I would be dead. My life has been turned up side down, since 4pm. It is not just me. Don;T let these people kill kids, my nieces could have died this weekend. I thought I was going to pick them up, but I am so shaken, I am ice cold all over. I pray to god- you will cease these vehicles at once. Please don;T let any more people drive these cars- and please show these on face the nation on channel 5 cbs stations. Thank-god- my nieces are alive. I am so glad to be home. I plan to get a police escort to the dealership 9/12/2017. I have had so much trouble finding honesty. God bless us.

Twice in the last two days, the car engine has shut off on its own while in motion, and the "vehicle at too high speed" flashed on my dashboard as it asked me to put it in park to restart the vehicle. Imagine if I was on the highway going 65 with cars all around me! an accident, possibly deadly, would have occurred! I have a 7 year old child, and this car is putting us both in danger. I didn't pay for a death machine, I paid for a working vehicle that is supposed to keep me and my family safe. This hits all of the qualifications of needing to have a recall issue, as I've seen at least 20 other complaints about this issue on carcomplaints.com. How many people have to be affected/injured/killed for this to get fixed?

The car will not crank even though the key fob is in close proximity. It can take up to 1 hour (sometimes more, sometimes less) to get the car cranked. The car starts at random...no special technique can be used to get this car to crank as it should. The key fob works for locking, unlocking doors; however, it does not work to start ignition. I have replaced the battery in the fob, had the car's battery tested (it's in good working order), taken it back to the dealership of purchase twice. I have been dealing with this issue for several days now in upper 90 degree weather in Florida. The vehicle is immobile/stationary. The occurrences have happened at home, work, grocery store, restaurant. Additionally I have noticed that the car skips while in motion. It feels as if something gets hung up and then releases. This is unsafe and frustrating. This car is crap!

We traveled two hours away for an event. When we were leaving the park the car stalled. No steering, no brakes, and no dash lights. We almost side swiped a camper before the car finally stopped. Another time driving down a busy highway the cat just dies. Etc light comes on. We take the car ti the dealer and they tell us its because the oil was low. I dont understand how the oil being low is going to stall out the car, there was no indication of oil issues. No lights were on in the dash. This car is unsafe.
