From day one, when maneuvering a driveway or dip in the road for water runoff I hear a loud scraping noise, like the front body is hitting the tarmac , roadway. I can''t get down to look under the car, well I suppose I could get down and look as long as there is some one there to help me get back up (87 year old bodies don't handle the up and down thing well). A S.W.A G. would be suspension but this beast is brand-new and frequent scraping noises should not be. I am going to the dealer first chance I get.
Update from Jan 28, 2018: 26 January The dealer advised that the scraping problem is common. Even the new cars coming off the truck scrape when they come in the lot thru a driveway . No fix was offered. Bigger wheels and tires might raise it enough to clear I was advised . The tendency is to apply the brakes and take the dip/drive slower. In heavy traffic coming out of the shopping center, sudden deceleration in an attempt to avoid the scrapping can result in the cars following hitting one another .
