Note: This is an observation only and is intended as a precaution, I have not been affected by any incidents related to this issue. The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica uses a dial to control its electronic gear selector. This dial is located nearby other console dials for audio volume, fan speed control, and other controls. On a previous vehicle of a different manufacturer, the electronic gear selector was redesigned due to users accidentally selecting gear changes and powering off the vehicle while driving. I am concerned of potential for similar accidental gear changes or application of parking break on the Chrysler Pacifica due to the placement of these controls. Please review this dashboard configuration for safety concerns and monitor accordingly.....updated 11/03/17 updated 11/07/2017
