Fuel rail sensor went out after the warranty expired. Cost of repair included a charge for the diagnosis (read a computer code?) for $135. part was $50. Total bill =$347. After repair I was driving home, turned on the climate system and the car was filled by gasoline fumes. Shut the cc fan off, but the fumes effected me. Drove with the windows open back to the dealer. They all said, well any time you work on something like that, the gasoline fumes will take a while to dissipate. The vehicle was not driveable like that. A degreasing of the engine compartment reduced the fumes to a tolerable and less noticeable amount, but someone (including me) could have been seriously harmed had I passed out.
