Driver side front window/locks/mirror controls don't work. Rear window controls do work on driver side. Locks and passenger window controls work on passenger side. All is exactly as in safety recall K07-front door wiring harness (stopped with model year 2009) so why is my exact problem (2010) shared by so many other 2010S on the internet, too" I am frustrated. Mechanic cannot find problem. Considering buying a new master switch for driver door-others say replacing it didn't work! it's a known problem-symptoms exact and to the "T"...recall window cutoff too soon!!! was notified of ignition/key fobick recall, thankfully! car occasionally almost dies, chugs, and keeps running. Car starts and runs great-intermittent almost dying thing always out of the blue! not notified about high pressure power steering hose leaking problem-just paid to have that replaced. Power steering makes terrible noise when turned to right. Suspension rattles like a box of bones! what next" I'm getting the sense that this vehicle isn't safe to drive (esp. W/my son in the car)! diagnostics and repair bills and quotes really starting to stack up-the more I look into this 2010 Dodge Journey regarding my problems, seeing so many others with same exact problems-really surprised that the recall list isn't more than it is! how many people have to live through the same poor quality issues before the manufacturer takes care of these sometimes seemingly pandemic problems"?" started before 116,000 miles - now 120,115 miles.

After doing my son's rotors and brakes I started to back the car out of the driveway and it stalled numerous times. The car had been running for 10+ minutes before this so it wasn't from a cold start plus it was around 40+ degrees out today. I said something to my son and he says it happens all the time(lives with his mom so never said anything to me before) I just looked into this online and it seems it's a known issue with problem being tipm. Chrysler hasn't recalled my son's vehicle yet though even as there's a class action lawsuit to add this year and make to the recall. Does someone have to get killed before this known issue gets the attention and recall it needs"???"

I parked my 2010 Dodge Journey in the parking lot at work and before I turned it off, smoke started coming out from behind the instrument panel, specifically behind the speedometer. I shut off my Journey, grabbed my bag and called 911. While I was giving my address, flames burst through the dash. The fire department arrived within minutes but the vehicle's front was engulfed at that time. They put the fire out. I contacted Chrysler and they sent an independent investigation team to inspect it. The electrical cluster behind the instrument panel was determined to be the cause. The wire cluster had caused electrical shorts when I first received the Journey, which a dealership repaired nearly six years ago their stated cause: "wires cut by sharp edge." They insulated the wire, relocated, and secured it at the time. Chrysler has claimed it was not a manufacturing issue.

I am referencing recall # 14V-373 for replacement of wireless ignition node module. I have had this part on order by local dealer for over 5 months now and am still waiting for dealer to receive the part so it can be changed out. I talked to dealer parts person and representative at fca group recall assistance center to find out why it has taken so long. No one knows why it has taken so long... I feel waiting over 5 months to effect repair is ridiculous and negligent!

We cannot shift our car out of "park" while the car is on. Instead we have to take these steps: Insert keys into ignition, then slightly turn to the right (but not turning the car on) as the electric system turns on, then shift out of "park" and into "neutral, " and then while in "neutral" turn the car to the right until it turns on and is ready for driving, then shift into "drive, " all of this while my foot is on the "brake." Our esp & bas lights are on every minute the car is on, and above these is a lit up picture of a car w/ squiggly lines below it. We have taken the car to autozone, O'reilly's auto parts, interstate all battery center, and wal-mart, and had the car hooked up to their system that ready codes/errors and determines what is wrong with the car. Every single place could not get a reading that indicated any reason for the lights being on. In fact, all results kept coming back as, "no errors found." When we called to explain this to the Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram dealership, they could not tell us any reason as to why these light would be on, and advised that it would cost $100 to hook up to their error-reading system. I do not want to do this because I have already tried at several places. This is another way for the dealership to reel me in and try to scam money out of me and then when I don't have thousands to constantly drop on this piece of crap, they charge me the diagnostic fee and I leave with more problems than I came with. These dealerships are a scam, and because I'm female, they try to get me to pay for every repair possible, claiming they are critical repairs. We just bought this car last year, & we were not offered an extended warranty. I know why now. 1 month after driving it off the lot, problems began & thousands of dollars later, we still have non-stop problems. Our car is worth half of what we paid for it 1 yr ago. Now there's this!

Recall R03 / NHTSA 14V-373 I was driving on the freeway at 50mph and hit a bump, the radio went off for 15 seconds. One mile later I had a complete electrical failure, for a period of four miles the vehicle had no turn signals, windshield wipers, fan blower, or radio. I have been waiting for three months for parts to fix my vehicle. Once upon a time I called them, parts were in, I made an appointment. When I got there service manager for bob and chuck eddy, austintown, told me they had been installed in another customer's car. Then he asked me what year I had bought my Journey from their dealership. Apparently you have to buy from them to get a recall done. I feel these unrepaired vehicles are a danger to their owners, passengers, and everyone else on the road and should be removed from service immediately.
