Contacted Chrysler@1 800 424 9393 and advised them there was manufacturer's 970 for this throttle cable. They advised me there was no recall on this cable, and referred me to the warranty dept at which they advised me that it was out of warranty.please help thanks.
Consumer stepped on throttle and it became stuck, consumer had to shut off ignition in order to stop car. The strands on cable became unraveled at cable housing, causing throttle to stick wide open. Throttle cable and linkage were replaced by Dodge dealer at my expense. New cable and linkage are of a different/improved design.
