as far as dependability this truck should have all cummins quality. the sheet metal quality must have been made of 90 percent used rust. the doors are rotted out, the rear bumper is rusted away to nothing; in fact if it had to be inspected by the state of NJ it would fail and would not pass until a lot of extensive body word was done on this truck and wouldn't be legal to drive on the roads. My history of vehicles has been of many but this was my first experience with DODGE and I have to say that it has left a very bad taste in my mouth!

I now have been driving around in a bucket of rust when I can get it to move for about the past six years!

until I bought this unknowingly rust bucket I owned and drove a GMC for about 15 yrs and the sheet metal looked as good as the day I drove it off the lot in 1990

I must say that I'm very reluctant to even look at a newer dodge.

Ram 2500 6-cyl, Turbo Diesel

  • Automatic transmission

Both driver and passenger side door panels rusted out along the bottom. I managed to have it cut out and patched, otherwise, the other fix would've been new doors.

Ram 2500 SLT Turbo Diesel

  • Automatic transmission
  • 60,000 miles

Rust found at bottom of both front doors on my extended cab 4x4. Saw it but thought it was dirt and wiped it away only to see it again. Looked at it more closely to find the bottom of the door on both sides of truck rotting away. Identified the problem w/in a year of the corrosion warranty expiring, however Dodge refused to fix. Dealer fully aware that this is a common problem with ALL dodges, event told me where to get a set of door shells reasonably priced.
