The contact owns a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500. The windshield was damaged by a stone and had to be replaced. A certified glass and body shop technician stated that the seal between the pain and the windshield did not adhere to the vehicle. He further stated that the windshield could fail at any moment. A letter explaining the defect is available from the technician. The speed, fuel system, purchase date, and powertrain were unknown. The current mileage was 27,500 and failure mileage was 27,451. Updated 3/4/08 the consumer stated communicated between dealer, Dodge Corp, and district manager who refused reimbursement for repairs. The consumer stated Dodge pays for spot welding not complete replacement. Updated 03/04/08
