I bought this truck to replace a 2000 of the same model. Sorry I did that. After 6 years the bed wheel wells started rusting out. I have noticed that most of the trucks of this era are doing the same thing. There ought to be a class action lawsuit against Dodge/Crrysler corporation.

Another design flaw that Dodge is just walking away from. 40k for a truck and it's a rust box.

Bed is rusting above wheel well. Rusting through from the inside. Ibelieve this is a common problem for this model truck. Poorly designed truck bed.

I have done some research and you can look around town and see that there are many dodge trucks with the same issue. I have noticed that most of the ones I have noticed are white. I am not sure if that is cause white makes it easier to see rust or that it is the only color with this problem. I sure wish a company that charges half as much as a house for a vehicle would take some responsibility for this issue.
