The blend door was broke off at the hinge. i tried to replace, but could not access. Brought to dealer to install and they say they had to replace the evaperator also. Job took 3 hours, don't think they could of done all that in that time. Does not appear they took out the evaperator and the air in the truck smells when I drive by a stink somewhere.Do not think they changed the blend door either. I believe I may of had a valve leak somewhere and they tighten or replaced the strator valve and just recharged. Has been working fine ever sense. $1,000 OUCH

Ram 2500 Laramie 5.9L

  • Automatic transmission

With 20k on my 1 year old truck my passenger side stared blowing warm air... 5 trips to the dealer and still not repaired, but once the warranty was up (5th times a charm)... then they knew how to fix it and it was only going to cost a grand. Mighty nice of Frank Kent.

I just add a 12 oz. ($8.00) can of freon every 6 months which keeps things working well enough... also a bunch of other stuff broken that shouldn't... but this was the biggie.

Makes you want to buy a foreign car from now on... what a shame!!!!!!!!

Ram 2500 5.9L Diesel

  • Automatic transmission
  • 82,000 miles

When running air conditioner, it blows cold on drivers side but warm on passenger side. Had it repaired while under extended warranty. After warranty expired about a year later, same thing again. They have to pull steering wheel and dash,so it's about a 600 to 700 dollar repair.

I have had several other Dodge 2500 owners tell me they had the shame problem.Haven't heard of a recall yet!!

Ram 2500 EX Hemi V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 88,500 miles

A/C will not direct to any vents. Can feel cool air, but on anything other than the lowest fan setting sound like fan is coming out of cage. Apparently turning the knob to direct air to feet/face has no effect and air is not being directed to either location and is blocked at the fan cage and need I say IT'S HOT IN VEGAS!!!

Ram 2500 SLT 5.9L

A/C would not work during hot weather, work fine at night or during cool weather. Took to LockLear Dodge they said over half of the freon was missing and there must be a leak. They charged it up and put dye in the system, however no leak was found. They said us it a week and bring back for leak detection. Week later same story charged it up insert dye no leak detected.
