Purchased truck in 2006, driving off the lot complained about the lack of air flow/cooling, especially on the passenger side. Complained many times, even while getting A/C compressor changed 2 times it did not help wit h the flow, Finally, after @8 years, dealer decided the fix was to change the entire A/C housing under the dash, which includes evaporator coil, which of course was a few years out of warranty. Dodge junked this whole housing in the 2007 models, and this is what they finally installed in my 2006 truck, 7 years later, out of warranty!
THE BAD THING IS ON SUMMER ,WHEN WE NEEDED THE AC, IT WOULD,NT COOL ENOUGH .ESPECIALLY THERE WASNT ENOUGH AIR COMING OUT FROM THESE VENTS .THESE YEAR THAT WE NEEDED THE HEATER ON ,IT TOOK LIKE ONE HOUR TOO HEAT . EVEN THE BACK VENTS YOU CANT FEEL ANY AIR COMING OUT,
90 degree day and the a/c will not cool the truck with the blower on high it sounds like it should be blowing your face off but it blows less than our ford superduty on low.this realy blows.(pun intended) come on dodge you know you have a problem....FIX IT!
