I have had this pickup in several times and the problem is still not fixed. The dodge mechanic keeps wiping off the O2 sensor and says that should fix the problem plus I should drive it like I stole it (is this a standard comment for Dodge to say to customers for this issue). We are afraid to take it anywhere fearing it could break down at any time. When starting the engine it diesels and runs very rough then it will shut off. If I start driving the pickup it loses all power, chokes and dies. If I shut it off and let it sit for a few minutes it will start up again and seems to run fine. We have had the exhaust system cleaned out several times too and that doesn't work either. Has anyone out there had this type of problem too? Help!
