The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 quad St (na). While driving approximately 50 mph, the check engine light illuminated on the instrument panel and power was lost to the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who could not duplicate the failure. The contact stated that the light illuminated again and the vehicle was taken back to the dealer. The dealer stated that the #5 fuel injector was defective; it was replaced. The failure occurred again December 2010. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer who stated that the #6 fuel injector was also defective. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 48,000 and the current mileage was approximately 54,000.
