The CP3 pump failed. I had two months left on my extended warranty. The dealer claimed it was not covered because the failure was due to fuel contamination. I filed a complaint with the service station I always purchase diesel from. The performed an investigation and came back saying that they found no contamination in their diesel pumps and had no other customer complaints. So they denied my claim and refused to pay. The dealer refused to cover it under the extended warranty so I was left to pay the $9800 repair out of pocket.

I don't feel there was any fuel contamination and the dealer just didn't want to perform such a big job for warranty rates and wanted me to pay the full shop rate for such an extensive repair.
